Kullaberg is located on the plains of Skåne between Helsingborg and Ängelholm. A mountain, sort of, with a lighthouse, beech forests, cliffs, sea and hiking trails.

Shelters, fireplaces, sheep, cows and horses. A golf course. Down by the sea is the small town of Mölle with Grand Hotel and Krukmakeriet inn, or Krukan as we call it.

Trail running on Kullaberg is wonderful. One hundred and eighty meters vertical from the sea to the highest point with singletrack, hard technical downhill tracks, dirt roads and meadows. This is where the Kullamannen Ultra finishes with three nice laps on the mountain after 100K and a start in Båstad.

For those who want to try some trails outside the marked routes on Kullaberg I share two GPX files. Since I lack any sense of direction, Mattias created these loops. Both start from the parking lot in Himmelstorp. The first one a bit harder, 11.5K and 460m vertical with rougher terrain. Download the GPX on this link

The next is 13K of enjoyment with a turn up the Håkull summit, without dipping down to the sea and the somewhat challenging climb up the Håkull Mal - still collecting 500 vertical meters. Download the GPX at this link.

Lots of ticks up on Kullaberg, don't forget the insect repellent. Pizza or the goulash at restaurant Krukan in Mölle for a really great after-run.
